We are seeking enthusiastic multi-talented individuals who can provide quality instruction on all levels of ability in two or more sports.  Cayuga offers over 60 land & water sports daily.  Instruction is geared to the camper's individual skill level, and is patient and thorough with due regard for both safety and enjoyment.  Instructors teach the basic fundamentals to beginners, and help advanced players sharpen their skills. We hire over 60 qualified instructors who have documented experience in their specialty area, as both a competitor/player as well as a teacher & coach.  Instructors are trained, evaluated, and qualified by the Activity Director at camp prior to the campers’ arrival.  We encourage you to apply.

FACILITIES:  Large Gymnasium with wood floor and stage for theatre productions; Teen Rec Center with stage for theatre shows; Tennis Center (10 hard-surfaced courts, and ball machines); Skate Park with ramps & rails, and large half-pipe; Hockey Rink; Baseball Field with clay infield paths; 2 Softball Fields; 2 Soccer Fields; 2 Athletic Fields for team sports (lacrosse, flag football, etc); Paintball Field with natural and man-made obstacles; Indoor and 4 Outdoor Basketball Courts; Martial Arts/Wrestling Room; Weight-Training Room and Fitness Room; 2 Riflery Ranges; 2 Archery Ranges; 5 Golf Cages; 3 GaGa Courts; 6 Volleyball Courts (grass & sand); 7 Badminton Courts; 5 Pickleball Courts; Playground Area; Tetherball Courts; and Video Game Room.  To see a complete list of all facilities, refer to the Facility List on our website.

LAND SPORTS ACTIVITIES:  Aerobics, archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, bubble soccer, cheerleading, dodgeball, exercise and fitness, extreme bungee jumping, fencing, field hockey, floor hockey, flag football, frisbee, gaga, golf, gymnastics, horseback riding, inline skating, jogging, judo, karate, kickball, lacrosse, martial arts, newcomb, paintball, ping-pong, pickleball, riflery, roller hockey, rugby, skateboarding, soccer, softball, tennis, tetherball, t-ball, touch football, track meets, video game room, volleyball, and weight training.   

WATER SPORTS ACTIVITIES:  American Red Cross swim instruction, recreational swimming, competitive swimming, water polo, water volleyball, water basketball, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, row boating, pedal boats, paddle boards, windsurfing, fishing, tubing, intercamp swim meets, scuba diving clinics, polar bear club, and canoe/rafting trips.  

CREATIVE ARTS ACTIVITIES:  Arts & crafts, pottery (throwing pots), pottery wheel operation, ceramics (glazing & firing), kiln operation, clay work (sculpting), t-shirt creations (tie dyeing, air brushing, fabric painting, & silk screening), painting (water color & acrylics), drawing, sketching (charcoal pencils), jewelry making, beading, basket weaving, lanyards & braiding, leather craft, macramé, paper mache & plaster projects, wood projects, copper enameling, block printing, needle craft, mask making, decoupage, model rocketry, nature crafts and cooking classes.  
PERFORMING ARTS ACTIVITIES:  Drama (acting, improvisation), music (guitar & keyboards), singing and chorus, dance (ballet, social, jazz, tap, modern), yoga, zumba, aerobics, talent shows, trips to local theatres.

EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES:  Horseback Riding instruction in English & Western styles from beginner to advanced levels, trail rides, horse jumping, intracamp horse shows, intercamp horse shows, evening trail rides, horseback overnights, horse-care instruction, and petting zoo (miniature horse, goats, calf, bunnies, etc).  

ADVENTURE & WILDERNESS ACTIVITIES:  High and low ropes course, rock climbing, rappelling, zip line, ATV quad riding, mountain biking, nature hikes, compass reading, cabin cookouts, overnight camping, petting zoo, backpacking trips, canoe/rafting trips, survival clinics, and more.  

TRAPEZE & CIRCUS ACTIVITIES:  High-flying trapeze, 2 low-flying single trapeze rigs, spanish web, silks, lyra, cradle, trapeze shows, circus shows, and circus acts including diabolo, juggling, plate spinning, devil sticks, unicycling, acrobatics, clowning, rolling globe, and stilt walking.  

MEDIA ARTS ACTIVITIES:  Radio DJ broadcasting, music DJ, digital photography, and camp newspaper.

Camp Cayuga is actively supervised by the Camp Directors and over 40 Senior Staff members, who are professional educators, school teachers, coaches, guidance counselors, and the like.  We are seeking mature individuals to fulfill various supervisory and directorship positions including:  Division Directors, Head Counselors, Program Directors, Athletic Directors, Tennis Director (USTA pro), Intercamp Tournament Directors, Trip Directors, Evening Entertainment Directors, Special Event Directors, Activity Supervisors, Horsemanship Director, Pool Directors, Lake Director, Adventure & Wilderness Director, Flying Trapeze Director, Circus Director, Creative Arts Directors, Performing Arts Director, Health Supervisor & Medical Staff, Maintenance Director, Transportation Director, Food Service Manager and Chefs, and Office Personnel.
