The Daily News , Huntingdon County's #1 Source for local news, is seeking a full-time Advertising Administrative Assistant to work in advertising sales and operations for local newspaper publications. The successful candidate will have the following job duties:

• Sells creative print and digital ads to local advertisers
• Assists graphic designers with the creation of ads
• Supports the daily advertising and newspaper operations
• Enters ad orders in the advertising software program
• Prepares daily layouts for multiple publications based on advertising deadlines
• Generates daily reports
• Assists with the monthly invoicing process

The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience working in an office environment and possess strong organizational, computer, and communication skills. Sales experience preferred, but not necessary.

The job offers a competitive compensation plan which includes an hourly wage, sales commission, bonuses and holiday pay. The benefits package includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and disability insurance. Regular work hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. No weekends.
