ARTS & CRAFTS INSTRUCTORS:
* We’re seeking fun, enthusiastic, artistically-creative individuals to lead our Creative Arts Program, which features a broad spectrum of activities that provide campers the opportunity to artistically express themselves.
* The Creative Arts Staff is comprised of several Directors who are typically certified art teachers with experience managing diverse art programs, and 8-12 university-level instructors who are majoring in art and/or have documented experience teaching all levels of art expression to children of all ages.
* Instruction is geared to the camper's individual skill level, and is patient and thorough with due regard for both safety and enjoyment.
* Instructors are trained, evaluated, and qualified by the Activity Director at camp prior to the campers arrival.
CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAM: Arts & crafts, pottery (throwing pots), pottery wheel operation, ceramics (glazing & firing), kiln operation, clay work (sculpting), t-shirt creations (tye dyeing, air brushing, fabric painting, & silk screening), painting (water color & acrylics), drawing, sketching (charcoal pencils), jewelry making, beading, basket weaving, lanyards & braiding, leather craft, macramé, paper mache & plaster projects, wood projects, copper enameling, block printing, needle craft, mask making, decoupage, model rocketry, nature crafts and cooking classes.
CREATIVE ARTS FACILITIES: The Junior Campus Creative Arts Pavilion features a Pottery Room with 12-15 pottery wheels, a Sculpturing/Clay Work Room, a Kiln Room with 3 kilns, a Photography Room, T-Shirt Creations Room, and over 6000 square feet of indoor work space for campers to create & display their art projects. * The Teen Campus Art Pavilion includes a Pottery Area with 4 pottery wheels, a Kiln Room, and an art project area measuring about 1800 square feet. * To see a complete list of the camp facilities, click here.

ARTS & CRAFTS INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Seeking mature individuals with high moral character, who exhibit strong teaching skills, good leadership ability, an outgoing personality, and the ability to work hard.
* Provide top quality instruction at all skill levels.
* Ensure campers enjoy themselves and experience success.
* Maintain high-level safety standards.
* Care for and maintain the camp's activity equipment.
* Keep the program area, clean, neat, and organized.
* Genuinely enjoy living & working with kids on a 24-hour basis.
* Possess a good sense of humor, and the ability to laugh!
* Enforce the principles & policies, as well as the objectives & philosophy of Camp Cayuga.
* Certifications in first-aid and CPR are preferred.

We are seeking multi-talented enthusiastic individuals who can provide quality instruction from beginner to advanced levels in two or more activities. Instruction is geared to the camper's individual skill level, and is patient and thorough with due regard for both safety and enjoyment.
LAND SPORTS ACTIVITIES: Aerobics, archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, bubble soccer, cheerleading, dodgeball, exercise and fitness, extreme bungee jumping, fencing, field hockey, floor hockey, flag football, frisbee, gaga, golf, gymnastics, horseback riding, inline skating, jogging, judo, karate, kickball, lacrosse, martial arts, newcomb, paintball, ping-pong, riflery, roller hockey, rugby, skateboarding, soccer, softball, tennis, tetherball, t-ball, touch football, track meets, video game room, volleyball, weight training, and wrestling.
WATER SPORTS ACTIVITIES: American Red Cross swim instruction, recreational swimming, competitive swimming, water ballet, water polo, water volleyball, water basketball, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, row boating, pedal boats, paddle boards, windsurfing, fishing, tubing, intercamp swim meets, scuba diving clinics, polar bear club, and canoe/rafting trips.

ADVENTURE & WILDERNESS ACTIVITIES: High and low ropes course, rock climbing, rappelling, zip line, ATV Honda quad riding, mountain biking, nature hikes, compass reading, cabin cookouts, overnight camping, petting zoo, backpacking trips, canoe/rafting trips, survival clinics, and more.
TRAPEZE & CIRCUS ACTIVITIES: High-flying trapeze, 2 low-flying single trapeze rigs, spanish web, silks, lyra, cradle, trapeze performances, intercamp trapeze competitions, and circus acts including diabolo, juggling, plate spinning, devil sticks, unicycling, acrobatics, clowning, rolling globe, and stilt walking.
MEDIA ARTS ACTIVITIES: Radio DJ broadcasting, music DJ, video camera filming, photography, and camp newspaper.
